We Give Back to the Communities We Serve

Members Heritage supports the communities we serve throughout the year. We assist in a variety of activities such as charity walks and food drives. We also help raise awareness of important health and wellness issues by participating in events like National Wear Red Day for the American Heart Association.

Our largest annual internal fundraiser benefits the United Way. MHCU raises upwards of $6,500 for each of its annual campaigns.

Although we have a small staff with less than 100 employees, our contributions make a difference. Each year, MHCU raises more than $10,000 for charitable causes that impact everyday lives.

Out of the Darkness Charity Walk

MH Employees gathered together to walk to prevent suicide by raising awareness. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost.

The Nest

MH employees held an internal drive for the Reindeer Express Toy Drive and donated needs from the wish list. Members Heritage matched donations raised. MH and employees donated over $500 worth of toys and winter apparel items.

World Down Syndrome Day

MHCU employees rocked their fun socks in support of World Down Syndrome Day. This day advocates for full inclusion in society for people with Down syndrome. MHCU donated $250 to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky.

National Wear Red Day

MHCU employees took part in National Wear Red Day 2025 to raise awareness of heart disease as a leading cause of death. MHCU donated $250 to the American Heart Association to help further its research and education efforts.
